How Are You Feeling Today Baby Bear?

Hi everyone

I hope you are all enjoying your weekend, the sun is shining here in Bolton and my daffodils are budding, I think spring is on the way.

A very wonderful lady who I met on Twitter Jane Evans has wrote a book "How Are You Feeling Today Baby Bear?"  Jane is a trauma parenting specialist and trainer and she has wrote this amazing book to help children who have lived with violence at home.

" Baby Bear lives in a home with the Big Bears and loves to chase butterflies and make mud pies - they make Baby Bear's tummy fill with sunshine.  Then, one night, Baby Bear hears a big storm downstairs in the house and in the morning Baby Bear's tummy starts to feel grey and rainy.  How will such a small bear cope with these big new feelings?"

This book can help so many children and I know Jane along with myself and her supporters would love to see it in every educational establishment, refuge, doctor's surgeries, nursery etc and so I hope you will all help us to spread the word of this amazing tool for children.

Jane is running the #donateBabyBear campaign for children affected by domestic violence and so this morning I have purchased my copy to donate to my local refuge - will you do the same?

Jane says "I am encouraging people to buy a copy of How are you feeling today Baby Bear? and to donate it to a domestic abuse organisation, a school, children's centre or anywhere children might be. If you would like to take part of this contact me and retweet on Twitter #donateBabyBear."

You can follow Jane on Twitter by clicking on the link to the left.

Domestic violence affects 100's and 1000's of children every year and trust me when I say that no matter how hard you try to protect your children from the truth they will be aware of far more. Deep psychological scars if left untreated can manifest and lead to problems in later life and when children are caught up in the war of domestic violence between two adults they are often forgotten.

I hope you will all support Jane and her inspiring campaign.  The book can be purchased by following this link http://www.parentingposttrauma.co.uk/my-book.html
