Some of you may follow us on social media, while others may have visited 
the website and or seen our promotional film- but what is A Force To Be 
Reckoned With?

The purpose of this blog is to both give you a short explanation of the 
campaign and its objectives, and possibly a glimpse of the woman behind 
the banner.

I would never describe myself as having had a "hard life", for I have 
not. If I genuinely believed and or felt this way I would have no issue 
in speaking up and saying so, however this is not the case.
In truth, I have simply lived a little, learned a little, and loved 
always.

The latter part of 2012 was spent utilising my own personal experiences 
of both sexual violence and abuse and subsequently the Criminal Justice 
System, and applying this to form the basis of a campaign for systemic 
improvement and law reform.

By April 2013 I was ready, I put the culmination of my hard work 'on the 
world stage' if you will, and AForceToBeReckonedWith.org was born.

Past and present I have faced questions and criticism related to my 
decision to run the campaign anonymously, in view of which I have taken 
the decision to use this blog as a platform to offer my sole explanation 
in relation to this matter.

I run the campaign anonymously because, quite frankly, my identity is 
irrelevant. I do not wish supporters and critics alike to become so 
focused upon me, my identity, my experiences, that the purpose of the 
campaign is overshadowed by this becoming a continued and unrelenting 
topic of conversation and speculation.

Whether or not an individual chooses to believe the various different 
events causative of my becoming a justice campaigner is entirely up to 
them.
I believe that the campaign is viable, and indeed stands upon its own 
merit.
It is not, nor shall it ever be, a means by which to test and or 
otherwise vet my credibility.

The founding purpose of the campaign is to abolish the current 
specialist investigative operation deployed via the Metropolitan Police 
Service in efforts to deal with and respond to crimes of sexual 
violence, replacing it with Rape Rescue Centres.

The objective is to, via such centres, create a comprehensive victim 
focused service that is both competent and effective.

To bring together all services and or relevant expertise beneath the 
umbrella of a Rape Rescue Centre is to create an optimal environment in 
which to collate objective evidence and fact, minimising the opportunity 
for outside influences and or prejudice, improving the standard of 
investigation, and thus facilitating a pathway to safe and appropriate 
judicial action(s).

While I am indeed aware of the founding principals of the London 
Sapphire Command, current evidence (in the form of both statistics and 
the voices of victims), proves beyond any reasonable doubt that the 
current system is, for a myriad of different reasons, failing to fulfil 
the purpose for which it was established.

That said, I must impress that AForceToBeReckonedWith.org was not 
established as a means by which to lambaste law enforcement. The aim is, 
and always will be, improving the system for the benefit of all.
When a specialist operation such as Sapphire has proven causative of 
great harm, revictimising the very individuals it was designed to 
protect, it becomes necessary to dismantle it, learn our leasons, and 
start anew with the knowledge gained from our errors and failures.

Via AForceToBeReckonedWith.org I lay at your feet the tools to empower 
yourself. I offer you the opportunity to harness the power of your own 
signature, and stand with me in my quest for real change.

I implore you to sign and share this petition, for my success is indeed 
yours, if I succeed it shall indeed be a victory for all.

In summary, what may come as a disappointment to some comes as no 
surprise to others, I am nothing special, my super hero costume is in 
the wash and I respectfully request that you place me not upon a 
pedestal.

Primarily because I far from deserve or indeed wish to be there, and 
secondly because pedestals are a pain to keep clean.... (abysmal attempt 
at humour on my part there folks).

The desire to truly assist my fellow souls flows through my heart, 
ignites my soul and in short, is my very reason for being.

In addition to the law reform aspect, the campaign is the vehicle by 
which I reach out to, and help folk daily.

In absence of your support I am nothing, you are the very reason that I 
do what I do, and without you I am simply a woman with an ambition, a 
desire, a dream to revolutionise the Criminal Justice System.
